Greek and I....

As a final word, I have to say that taking Greek, and having Mr. Spott's as a teacher, has been so amazing. I have learned so much over these last 4 years. Everything from "if you procrastinate or don't learn vocabulary you have bad consequences" (amazing, huh? =)) to how to recognize all these odd forms I wouldn't have believed existed.

As I sit here, I'm looking at my books. My handy purple book, its cover mostly gone, wrinkled, underlined, torn up, and well used and loved, and ready to be lent out this week to another scholar. My lexicon, the most handy book for weekly work, still a respectable looking cover, but always kept on my desk for reference. And, my Greek New Testament. Underlined, with notes. Wow. When I was little that was one of my goals. To read Scripture in Greek. Now, I've read 10 books in class with you, some more than once!

This class forced me to read and think about what I'm reading -- (glossing over details makes for rough classes ;)) I've seen and understood more. Thank you for being so generous and understanding with me yet continuing to hold me to a standard. Thank you, Mr. Spotts! This has been one of the best classes I ever took!
